Technique employed by crowded garment r...Dear Sir,

Technique employed by crowded garment retailers in Mumbai...

1.Pack products (chudidhars?) of same quality in at least three different types of packings.

2. Price all three differently (Rs.200/, Rs. 350/, Rs.550/-...?)

3.Guide customers to different sections of shop to let trick work.

4.'Rs.200/' packs to be shown to ladies accompanying ladies, or sometimes men accompanying men (logic- these blokes have all the time in the world to bargain. They will bring down the entire store and then scoot away without buying with a mere 'thank you bhaiya'.. so why lose ( time or face) finally??)

5.'Rs.350/' packs to be shown to ladies accompanied by males (logic - when accompanied by members of the opposite sex, the man loses his capacity to bargain, and will stop nothing short of buying at ridiculous prices to impress and show who's boss/ knight warrior.)

6. 'Rs.550/- packs' to be shown to couples with kids (logic - these people are too tired and encumbered to travel( even to the next shop) - and hence to bargain. They will definitely buy to save the bother.

No cheating!! LOL!

Thanks and regards,

Anup G. S.
Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17933932410955745745noreply@blogger.com
